The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is a tribute to the watch that started it all. The watch that opened the world of watchmaking to Jacob Arabo. It’s inspired by a vintage timepiece that’s an Arabov family heirloom : a double time zone watch that Jacob Arabo received at the age of 13, from the hands of his father, Nison Arabov. There is always an intimate component in a Jacob & Co. creation. For Jacob Arabo, design is rooted in passion. What he does, he does wholeheartedly. The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is the most authentic creation he ever undertook. It comes from the heart.
The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone takes after the original Wakmann double time zone Jacob Arabo received from his father. Like its inspiration, it features a double, independent timezone. It’s powered by self-winding caliber JCAA11, which allows both sub-dials to be set separately. Each one shows a different hour and a different minute, allowing to keep up with any timezones, including India’s, set to UTC + 4:30.
The original timepiece Jacob Arabo received was a practical watch with an original design. The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone perpetuates its dial and its complication, updated to contemporary standards, with an exclusive self-winding caliber.
The World Is Yours is inspired by the world and the way it looks. Its design emulates the shape of our planet. The case is rounded, the dial is an ample curve and the sapphire crystal that tops it all is an even wider curve. As a whole, The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone celebrates the third dimension of space.
The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone indicates two time zones, complete with hours and minutes. Each zone can be set down to the minute. It is the only way countries with unusual UTC time offsets, like India, can display both local time and home time accurately. The crown, located on the right side of the case, has three positions. Winding, time setting for the lower time zone, time setting for the upper time zone. It’s up to the wearer to choose which one is local time.
At the center of the domed dial lies a small seconds hand. It’s shaped like a wind rose, a necessary compass in the middle of a world map. It belongs to both time zones. And it’s a reminder of the importance of finding one’s bearings in the world

Much of the fascination of a mechanical watch often lies in the complex movement inside the case. It takes meticulous care and maintenance to keep it working properly and telling the time accurately for many years. Our expert watch services meet these needs. Ideally, you should have a certified specialist check your watch every two years and overhaul it completely every five years.

Inspection and cleaning

We give you our best so that your watch stays well maintained. For this reason, we also offer fee-based inspection and cleaning services for timepieces not purchased from us. Our master watchmakers inspect your watch and then decide how best to clean it based on its material.

Repairs

Our service departments at our showroom take care of small repairs as swiftly as possible.

General overhaul

We recommend a regular, general overhaul of your wristwatch to maintain its precision and value. This service is comprehensive, so after you leave your watch with us at a showroom we forward it to one of our internal workshop. Specially qualified master watchmakers at these workshops first take apart mechanical watches using highly professional methods to expose the components. Before cleaning them, all parts are systematically inspected for defects and replaced if necessary. The subsequent bath in a cleaning solution removes oil residues and dirt. After that, the movement is reassembled and adjusted to ensure that there are no errors in how the watch runs. This is an operation that lasts multiple days. Afterward your watch radiates with a new brilliance and leaves our workshop with a warranty of two years.

Wristband adjustment, restoration, or exchange

We adjust the wristband of your new watch to your personal wrist size free of charge directly after purchase. However, even when the wearer takes the greatest care, it may sometimes be unavoidable that the case or metal bracelets suffer small scratches or damage. Our watchmakers make sure that they end up appearing almost as they did on their first day.
